This is an accountability post!
If you’ve been here since the beginning of the year, I announced a challenge I was doing. It spawns from a Christmas gift my sister gave to me. Please see the poorly lit example.
It is a scratch-off poster that says ‘The Ultimate Bucket List Top 100 Anime’ and represents the top 100 anime you should watch. Now, my mama ain’t raise no punk (a sensitive soul, yes) but no punk so I will happily accept MOST challenges. It seemed fun and I mainly watch anime, so what was the harm?
The only problem is I haven’t completed a series (minus JJBA since I’m a few episodes being done) 😭. I’ve also been caught up in all of the season’s new shows. I made this post to acknowledge that sometimes things happen. However, I am making a proclamation that by the end of the year, I will have watched these shows.
That gives me another 5 months to complete about 69 shows. I don’t know if anyone remembers but I had already scratched the 30 shows I’ve watched already. Can I do it?

Currently, I’m working on Mushi-shi, Akame ga Kill, Elfen Lied, Banana Fish, and Kaguya-sama. Some of these I started but never finished like Tokyo Ghoul and Parasyte, so I didn’t count them. I do plan to write reviews for each of these shows and still try to get some of the newer shows out as well. That’s been the hold-up and while I don’t think anyone is mad at me for being behind. I just wanted to post this and show I am committed to this and I want to stick with it.
So, that’s it. Nothing crazy, no earth-shattering revelations. I’ll try to post these updated blogs every once in a while. If you want to get your own scratch-off poster like mine, click the link below, and happy watching!
