**This post is NOT sponsored by Sugoi Mart and I’m not being paid to post this! (UNFORTUNATELY)**
Sugoi Mart has released a new lucky bag with the hit anime and manga, Spy x Family, as the theme. In the past I’ve loved getting anime lucky bags because it’s an opportunity to get some merchandise, snacks, and manga for your favorite series! There were a lot of goodies in this one so I want to share what all came in my lucky bag. My one gripe though is I wish they could’ve done a SxF themed bag instead of just the black drawstring one. There was a small disclaimer that each bag design may vary so I probably just didn’t get a themed one.
The official description from Sugoi Mart reads;
SPYXFAMILY is a popular shonen series made in Japan. Sugoi Mart is here with a lucky bag featuring all of your favorite spy x family characters like Anya Forger, Yor Forger, Loid, and more!
Each bag contains a variety of Japan exclusive Spy x Family mystery items from snacks, candy, collectibles, toys, figures, manga, and more!
VIA SUGOI MART
I received around 12 items in this bag, along with a nice Sugoi Mart drawstring bag. The first item was pretty noticeable as it was a composition notebook with the main characters of SxF front and center. As someone who likes to jot down notes, I feel like this was a nice addition! Recently, I was looking for some anime-themed journals and notebooks, so this came at a great time.

Next is a copy of the fourth volume of the Spy x Family manga. Even though I can’t read fully in Japanese quite yet, it’s cool to keep in my collection.

Then, once I reached my hand in the edible goodies started flowing! There was a pack of gummies made from some of the animal characters from the show (lions and penguins). They were delicious! Had a little bit of a weird after taste at first but the more I ate the less I noticed it.

Secondly, there was a chocolate wafer. I’ve noticed in all of my boxes they had a wafer and I’m not complaining! They are simple yet effective.
Lastly were some hard candies that came in this cute Anya tin. I’m saving the tin just for Knick knacks but the candy was a nice treat also. You could say they were like a mixture of dumb-dumbs but without the sticks.
So, that’s the end of the edible treats! Next up there were some figures.
The first figure was Anya, in fact both of them were. I’ll start with the smaller one first. This one was like a keychain figurine with Anya’s signature smirk. I bet it would be great for maybe your phone or on a key ring. Also, there was a random piece of candy included in the packaging. Gotta love the added sweetness.

Alternatively, the larger figure was one that I had to actually assemble. While I do have other figures, I confess this is the first one I put together. I’m patiently waiting to obtain a case to store them in. Anyway, you can change out her face to give her different expressions and her arm movements. She’s currently hidden in my closet because my cat literally knocked her over (she didn’t take any injuries!) so I know better now.

In all honesty, I’ve never seen a lego-inspired anime figure but it was cool! This one was Yor. My goal was to share a before and after picture but…I’m horrible with legos and got too frustrated attempting to build little Yor. You’ll just have to purchase one and put it together yourself!

In addition to treats and figures, there were some collectibles as well in the form of cards! Two small rectangular packs carried two cards each, neither giving a hint as to which character was inside. Upon opening, I saw Anya, in a still from two different episodes. As well as Loid and Yor in another set of cards. They will go nicely on a board or showcased in a glass case.

Now over to my final thoughts!
Pricing
This edition of the Lucky Bag was a great treat for SxF fans like me! Everything was nicely thought out and covered all areas of merchandise (notebooks, figures, candy, photocards and collectables, etc). As someone who lives in a bustling city, it can still be hard to find merch for all your favorite shows, unless it’s a t-shirt, but just simple pleasures such as plushies or bags can be hard to come by. This bag did a great job at giving multiple options for fans looking for different types of merchandise.
Quality/Quantity
As I previously stated, there were a good amount of items in the bag and I didn’t feel cheated. For the price, just getting a figure is already worth it. Then you add in a copy of the Japanese manga and also a lot of people forget these items come directly from Japan itself. It was packaged neatly in the black drawstring bag!
Overall
I felt I was able to get a good value with my money. If you’re a big fan of the series as I am, this is the bag for you! Again, my only disappointment was the bag. A design would have been much better but maybe economically it was cheaper to just put in a plain black bag.
If you’d like to grab one for yourself, there a plenty available!
